What's your ISP
I used to work for the ISP. Your IP is probably dynamic. But the DHCP server has a database. When it sees your mac address connect they will generally give you the same IP if available. This is why direct connecting the pc works (the PC has a different mac address).
Check your router settings and see if it has mac cloning. If not, gey one that does.
This will allow you to send a fake mac address to your isp. Just change it anytime you want a new IP.
Mac addresses are 12 characters, hexadecimal so 0-9 A-F only

If you want to go from static to dynamic IP you just need to reset your computer network settings and you will get dynamic IP every time .
I think so you have posted wrong question because everyone wants static IP thats why they use VPS or VPN.But for the question you put out that is answered.If you want to go from dynamic to static IP contact you ISP or purchase a dedicated residential virgin clean IP.

I don't think you can use any trick by youself. If your isp gives you a static ip, that's all you have. Generally, talking to the isp works. I did the opposite once, for some specific reason.
Another way to have a dynamic ip would be to ditch your isp and go 4g way.

If your router doesnt support mac cloning you can probably instlal ddwrt or some similar software to get it supported.
