I received notice from JUST HOST today that they have suspended my account for too much CPU usage, but I can continue on a dedicated server they reccomend for $149/month. THis is crazy I have like 20 wp blogs with them but maybe 2-300 visitors/day. Now I can't log into my account or reach them on the phone. I'm freaking out, this is like 2years of slow bulding down the drain in a second , Any and all advice would be appreciated,

Couldn't you break them up over several shared hosting accounts. It won't be as cheap as before, but it also wont be 150/m.

Go to
Code:
http://iweb.com
and get a dedicated server for about 69.00/month. I'm thinking that it's wordpress in itself that is causing the server resource issue. Still with shared hosting plans if you consume more than 1% of the server resources then they so call have a "right" to ban your account especially if they're hosting hundreds of other people website on the same server that you are hosting on.

I wouldn't go dedicated with them for $149/month because you can find quality dedicated hosting cheaper and probably better or better yet think VPS hosting instead.

Before you do anything drastic, buy yourself some time to think and act. If they are even remotely reasonable, they will give you a grace period to either switch over to a dedicated host, to go to another hosting service, or whatever. Nobody that's running a decent business would just cut someone off with no advance notice. If they do cut you off with no notice, they are opening themselves up to legal action. First thing I'd do is call them, discuss the matter with them, and, if nothing else, get a two week reprieve.

Even an incompetent hosting service ought to be reasonable about this. Now, if you've been warned before, or if you are doing something really bad, then you do have problems.

thats very sad to hear

are you running autoblogs?

just switch hosts. get support to send you the cpanel backup and go sign up at hostgator. i think they still have 50% off today...
