So i've been trolling bhw for about half a year now and I have come up with my first idea for my first attempt at making money.

I plan to offer a web presence service to local businesses. I am in a small town and very very few of the local businesses even have a website. Most only come up in search engines for bad reviews on yelp and other review sites. my plan is to simply go door to door (after establishing one or two customers as examples) and explain to business owners what I do and how much it will cost (I have no idea what to charge yet).

These are the main things I will do for the businesses.
    1. Create/manage a facebook page
    2. Create/manage a simple webpage with hours/pictures/discounts/(maybe a 10% discount for mentioning the site so they can see it is working)
    3. write reviews on the sites they have bad reviews on to cover up bad ones.

This is my first post and my first idea but I am not new to the internet i have been making simple web pages for about 6 years now. I am nowhere close to an expert but i do have some experience.

Please leave feedback on how i can improve this idea? how much i should charge? anything else i should do for the businesses ? or anything else you think would help.

Your goal seems good, make it more future proof by deciding what are the services you are going to upsell (monthly/yearly).

Stop planning and trolling here and go take action. Seems to be a solid plan to me.

    Good Luck

Less trolling, make it serious somehow, :) That'll be great for sure.
