HELP: My facebook group hit 7,000 members, I cannot message everyone no more!

any facebook experts?

i got a group that is 7,000 members now.

the function to "message all in group" is gone

should i just start deleting some members? any suggestions?

no shit. this is a limit facebook has. you should of made a fan page also and interlinked them. cos with fan pages you can still use status updates to update the members..

i am going to make a fanpage to go with the group and put it in the title
 
add it to your group page yeh where it says. write something about this page or group etc.. just under the image,, also add a link on the info tab.
 
what is the limit? 5000?

if so i might delete about 2,000 members then so i have that ability come back

thank you sir, i just added it. and posted it on the page as well.

if i delete some members do i gain back the ability to message everyone?
 
that i cant answer as ive never deleted anyone for that reason lol.. i tend to stick with the pages mainly which are linked with the groups etc

haha dang! well the fan page has definitely been linked up

so far 55 members just joined.

isnt tehre a way to get all of their email addresses as well? so i can message them via email directly? i vaguely remember it in those "add me groups"
 
dunno lol. ive seen emails in groups before but i think its just people adding to lists etc.. could be wrong though

You should be able to update with a link to a website or CPA offer or something....

you mean an update as just a "wall post"?

you might be thinking of fan pages not groups????
 
well the group is 16,000 members now!
 
Hi, You can change one word in your title group and each member will receive a notification. I try it with one of my group, and as a member I receive a notification and an email from facebook : "the group name ... has changed in ...".
I don't know if all the members receive an email. It will depend on your privacy settings ...
 
As far as I know, the limit for messaging is 5000 at anyone time, thats why groups tend to not be as valuable when more than 5000 people are in them, still worth big money tho.
 
You should have locked the new member join when you hit 5000 members. You can still throw them out bro.

what is the % of click?
