Help My Blog Redirects To www.xxxxxxx.com/wp-admin/install.php

    i dont know why, but ever since i moved my wordpress blog keeps redirecting me to www.xxxxxxx.com/wp-admin/install.php instead of this www.xxxxxxx.com

    and this seems to be a problem for me, i dont know what to do. i already have wordpress installed on the site

    Is this the case with Homepage only? I mean when you try to login to xxx.com/wp-login.php, it has the same problem or not?

    I think it's because the wordpress database is empty.

    its happens at intervals, all the link will redirect to that link the install.php, but sometimes the site will come back to normal self. i dont knw why it is happening. my database cant be empty case there are files on my site

    That's weird. I think you might have messed up something while migrating your site. Maybe you can back up all your wordpress data by importing them, reinstall wordpress, and export the data back.

    You installed wordpress manually or any hosting script? I think you need to take backup of your site from file manager and database from phpmyadmin, then install new wordpress and upload your files then.

    This is the simple way of transferring wordpress from one host to another, it might be useful for you:

    I have back up twice now; I just moved to ipage, I neva heard this problem on my former host. And this is the second time. But I installed wordpress using ipage auto installer called simple scripts. Checking ur link now

    I have checked it; but that doesn't seem to be the problem. Will a manual install of wordpress work, instead of using simple scripts of ipage

    this is what i am getting in my errorlog
