[HELP] Mobile application (IOS)

Hey guys,

I've made new native mobile app for IOS (apple market), which subject is 21.12.2012 (end of the world). It is pretty awesome it has a list of bunkers,shelters,.. all over the world (100k locations) and latest News on that subject.. My price on market is 0,99$ ...

Now tell me what is your opinion is that enough viral application? How to put it out there..

awesome idea to profit from a hot trend

try youtube for promotion make some slideshows and post them on youtube you will start getting hits
for more details check the youtube subforum it contains lots of info

I really like your idea - good job! Here are a couple of ideas of how to promote your app further...

- Start several Twitter Accounts posting tweets regarding this topic - every now and then promote your app
- Make a facebook fanpage
- Search for Hangouts
- Look for forums, IRC Channels, Chats, Portals and Blogs where this topic is discussed
- Comment on Videos wich relate to this topic (Not only on Youtube... be sure to post on Vimeo, Veoh,...
- Look for Audience who belives in other Dates.
- Post on Forums relating to Zombies or other post apocalypitc scenarios (maybe fanpages, blogs, etc of "The Walking Dead")-
- Think of doing Joint Ventures with People from your "Niche": Survival-Pack sellers, Canned Beef Wholesalers, etc...

Ok so I've decided to make a little journey until 21.12.2012, then everything will end anyway )

- I've created app an posted i on istore.. (Not on google play - much less money)
- Created facebook group called (Shelter Finder 2012) - promoted it with 50€ facebook promotion
- posted link on some face ook pages that contains 21.12.2012

Current sale: 50x0,99$ in one day

lets see if I can scale it to goal 10.000 sale in 12 days

Todo:
- post on forums
- post on chats
- promote more on fb
- make youtube video (buy some credits)
