I am having a issue with my paypal. Lately I receive 3 gifts from 3 different friends. £50, £150 and £50 again. Not really friends, but some people I know from skype which I helped with something. One of them, the last one wanted a refund, didn't contacted me first and just made a dispute. The problem is that I refund him and my paypal remain still limited. I contacted paypal several times and they asked what goods or service I am selling and why I received as gift. I am not selling anything and I don't know hot to solve this. They might block the option on my account to receive further gifts.

    The last email from them:

    "Dear....,
Thank you for contacting PayPal regarding the limitation on your account.
Please note that when receiving payments for goods or services you should not instruct buyers to send personal payments.
Personal payments are intended for sending money to friends or family and are not covered under the buyer and seller protection.
If you are receiving payments for providing SEO services, this is not considered a 'gift'. Please note that abuse of personal payments can lead to the option to send and receive them being removed from an account.
As you have to date been sending and receiving a large number of personal payments , we do ask that you provide details on what you were receiving and sending payments for.
For example, the transaction ID xxxxxxxxxxx , for 50GBP, Was for providing SEO services.
Please clarify for us the transactions made from the 17th of August to the 17th of September, you simply need to detail what product or service was being bough/sold.
You can reply directly to this email and we will update the case for you."

I would like to get my account restored without to lose the option for gifts. Any advice how to talk/respond to paypal?

    Thanks!

Sounds like you performed a service/good to the person and used the gift option to avoid fees? Yeah, paypal isn't stupid. lol
