    Hello BHW,
I was just going to buy a domain for one of my project. I then realized before buying it, I will be using this domain for very long time and I really don't want any trademark issues at all because dealing with them will waste lot of time and I will have to start my work again by getting new domain.

So, I am targeting game cheats/hack keywords. I was just going to register a domain like: coccheats.com [Similar To This]
As you can see that coc stands for one of the most famous games.

So, Should I register domain like that by replacing "coc" with my keyword's first letters of words?
I know there are lot of threads regarding that question but I would like to get an accurate answer for my question because I don't want any trouble regarding domain in future.

I will really appreciate if anyone can help.
    Thanks in advance.

If you want to have this domain for a long time, then don't risk it. I was hit with a cease and desist letter once and I didn't even build the site out yet. So you might not even get far to begin with. On the other hand if it's just the abbreviation of the game's name, it might not be trademarked. Do a search on uspto gov site and go to Search Trademark Database (tess).
