Help me understand the Paypal connection for dropshipping

Okay - so I get when you sign up for amazon prime they only check that the VCC is valid. So that really says hey I can be anybody.When you sign up for ebay all you need is a valid email address, okay so that's handled. But how do you handle the connection between ebay and paypal?

So lets say your ebay account is compromised. Does that mean I need a whole new Paypal account? In turn, does that mean I need a whole new bank? I'm trying to understand Paypal's connections, any info is appreciated.

Realize that ebay own's Paypal so they push users to use their system.


If you are an Australian ebay user then Paymate is a great solution.
If you are a Canadian ebay user then CertaPay is great.
If you are a UK ebay usere then Nochex is great.


US ebay users and International Users can all use RevolutionMoneyExchange with a US Bank Account.
A Merchant Account & Gateway is the best solution to selling on ebay without Paypal and wanting to accept credit cards.

When one financial institution (paypal) deals with another (bank), they do not ask each other for information not needed to do the transaction.

Hello, From what I understand Ebay no longer owns Paypal, but the benefit of Paypal is that it is well known and trusted! They also provide very good protection for a buyer. If you pay by Paypal, and something goes wrong with the transaction - don't get the item, item not as promised, etc. you will get your money back.
