    Hello ,

I have a website bought 2 years ago from an auction. Site is 15 years old and have awesome backlinks. I paid high xxx for unique articles. It has been listed at 1st in relative keywords on yahoo&bing for years , however google filtered the site. It might because of my fault because of web2.0 links at past I bought.. Site is getting 150-200 hits however it was getting 2k before google filtered.

Webmaster tools says noting about it. What should I do ? Do you think 301 redirect will work ? Like registering a brand new domain and c/p the content here and 301 the old site... I really afraid about losing my yahoo&bing raitings , also site have plenty organic backlinks from .edu sites and national geo etc.. More over %10 of the visitors typing website name exactly to google to access the site.

I'm not fully banned from google , like a keyword which I ranked on Google at 1st page , now I'm at 16th page.

What do you thing ? 301 may work or any comments about that...

    Thanks for your interested

It's always a pain when you get penalized by Google. You just have to live with it and next time don't repeat the mistakes. What I would do in your place is buy another old domain with good backlink profile and start it over without spamming it with web 2.0s.

With the actual domain, try to filter and disavow the bad backlinks and start building some strong PBN backlinks to boost it back up (without knowing how long it will take to recover). I made it work like this several times, but it took me months until I recovered. First, you need to know exactly what caused the penalization and this is complicated. If it's site-wide, it means that all your website got slapped...in this case you can move on and buy another domain. If it's page-wide and only some keywords were affected there is still hope. Second, you need to build HQ backlinks (PBN are the best and will always remain the best in my opinion..but good PBN links are expensive). This should put you back to the top.

I know there are some services here on BHW Marketplace that can analyze your backlink profile and tell you which ones to disavow. Try it out...and good luck.
