I will keep it short; I have created a charity project. I am not planning on making a single dollar of it, I am purely looking to help ( and get the feeling of success of course
). The project is basically only a youtube video, and I am pretty sure it will take off once people start to notice it. The problem is that I have no experience in getting videos viral. I have posted it on a related subreddit, but it has 0 votes after 2 hours. I have contected some people with medium-sized ( 10k followers) social medias as well as a few newspapers. Nothing is really working, and I was wondering if someone had any advice. It should also be said that the video is linked to a hashtag ( a new one).
Does anyone have a method on getting the video viral they want to contribute with? If you don't want to share it in public you can send me a PM. Any help is truely appriciated, wheter it is advice or a tweet with a real account.
The video is called #10BucksForLeelah. You might have heard of Leelah Alcorn, a transgender person who commit suicide a few days ago.
