What do you want to know ?
Prepare your car for sale...Have it looking good....make sure all the paperwork/service records are to hand and accounted for.
If advertising on ebay take lots of good photos.....photos sell a car.
Include everything that needs to be said in the description. Even standard stuff like abs/electric windows should be listed as extras.
No need to lie but be positive about your car...let a potential buyer know its been loved.
Appear to be flexible on price/deal...invite offers/discussion/negotiation.
List the exact make/model/spec......dont presume people will know
Advertise at Only(yes only) a warrior style figure of 8999 etc ONO (or nearest offer)

I'm trying to sell my car online and offline.
Does anyone have any tips for me in terms of CL or other similar sites or Offline tactics ?
any help would be greatly appreciated
post it on craiglist, list your phone number. List all the neighboring cities to get more exposure example.
I live in phoenix I will post something like this car is very reliable, I used to live in avondale outskirts very close to tolleson and would have to commute through phoenix, tempe and chandler to get to my job and I never had a single problem. I kept up with all maintence. I am motiviated to sell this car so I can meet anyone who willing to meet me so if you live in chandler,mesa,guadalupe,glendale,(keep listing places) etc. That way you can get the most viewership out your ad.
I sold a few cars and everytime I sold it was people out of town like 4 hours away, why cause I made my ad available to a board audience and people who travel to check out a car is more then likely to buy it then a person in town, so by making the ad board you higher the risk of out of towners to come look at your car and most likely hood of selling it. Most people buy cars on weeknds so keep your weekends open, know where the nearest dmv place is open on saturday and sunday so you can handle all the paper work that day if you dont already have the car note notrized, better yet have the title notrized already.

Post for sale on olx , CL and all possible classified sites out there. If you live in India, I might be interested in buying if you have a good model and the condition of the car is good

The tips I gave are still valid tho.
At night a car looks better, rain helps even more. Getting them to travel makes them invest time, people hate spending two hours traveling to return home with nothing. Bargaining space allows people to think they made great deal, some will walk away from a deal if they can't haggle a bit. Pictures helps in getting them interested.
The tips provided by Duffers5000 are more than useful too tho.

First of all DO NOT LIE, if you lie you'll only piss people off. Second show pride of owner ship, clean the car inside and out. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY AIR FRESHENERS HANGING air fresheners will make the buyer think that you're hiding a smell. Change the oil in your car so when they check they will think the car was taken care of.

Ok so I cleaned the car inside and out and took some really nice pics in HQ , and submitted it in CL (main city and cities close by with higher pop) and car.com and autotrader.com .
I wrote up a nice detailed description about the car and what makes it special + I lowered the price to be a touch lower than KBB.
I will keep posting to CL about twice a day.
