Help Me Rank Number 1

Hey guys,

I don't normally like sharing micro niche's but in this instance I'm gonna cuz it's annoying me. I registered the site http://www.watchreddwarf.co.uk to watch episodes of the hit UK show. I want to rank for watch red dwarf. After just buying the domain name I was on page 1. Now after a month of intense link building and authority link building it's sitting at number 5 still. Look at number 1 though (google uk). Watchreddwarf.com, a spam site with ads and crap all over it and next to no backlinks....wtf?

How can I get top if that site manages to sit pretty?

put an h1 tag on your home page with your main keyword.

put the direct phrase in your description

do meta keywords for good practice

build links with anchor text

Thanks man did all of that, hopefully we get somewhere now. I blasted another similar site and it disappeared so thought i'd sandboxed it but it just reappeared so musta been the dance. May do that for this site.

Try adding some unique content to the site and keep building more backlinks and update the site as often as you can.

having all the onsite seo in place can help alot. Have all ur H1, H2, H3, alt tags, meta tags, KWs in bold/underlined can help alot. And keep building backlinks with relative anchor texts to pages your linking for.

Do the regular stuff - link building, onpage seo, off-page seo, add new content. It will help.
