Help me Invest?

Hey everyone. I have been lurking on this website for a while and was wondering if I could get some tips or advice from everyone.
Basically, I have been working all Summer and now that College is starting back up I would like to find something I can do with my money. I have a lot of money saved up (Over 10 grand) but I really only want to invest maybe $1000 at first.

So far I've looked into Scrypt Coin Mining but I really don't have a good feeling that I'd make my investment back. I also looked into dropshipping on Ebay but sadly my Ebay and Paypal accounts always get suspended for bs reasons.
I have been reading a little about marketing websites and it seems like people make some good money from that?

A few tips..

1. Don't buy any mining machines unless you can leach electricity in the dorms as it's a rigged system (no Pun) :)

2. Since you really don't know what you're doing I suggest taking that 10k and investing it in the stock market and reaping some side cash. Why you ask? Because you may not be able to handle college and Internet Marketing plus you don't want to be out 1k or 10k or any K because you're overwhelmed with school. Now you can take your 10k and invest in something like CHKR that has a reasonable dividend. Nearly $2 on a $10 stock. What does this mean at 10k? it means 666 dollars monthly (2000 paid quarterly) Now while many of these guys who start out 200-500 would be great monthly. You can make nearly 700 monthly doing nothing. Why not do that and research more while in limbo with the type of IM you want to do.

3. I can't give investment advice and you should speak to a professional. I currently do not hold or own CHKR. I was using CHKR as an example. They only pay 2.32 annually. But you can find high paying dividends. WHX is a 25% a high one. Just search around.

4. You could vest directly in your digi coins. Look at it this way if you invest in a mining rig and it cost 1k how long will it take for you to make one 1k? Compared to your investment of a coin you believe in. BTC goes up and down by the minute you can trade it and make some good loot.

If you're really interested to invest in IM, here is my advice:

Buy hosting & domain.
Create good affiliate sites. (You can buy sites from BHW marketplace.)
Buy top SEO packages from BHW marketplace.

But I guess for above steps, you will need to do a bit of research.

Apart from IM, you should think on Stock Market investing (if you want to hold your money for more than year.

Other safe options are also available.
 
You're not really talking about investing, but speculation. They're very different.

My advice, ignore his PM. Nothing good comes from shady businesses.
Here's my advice, but start with low budgets 'till you learn. Read some good books about PPC, there were some great courses shared here. I'd start with Facebook ads, they're pretty easy to handle, use a voucher to get an idea (you can get a $50 voucher for $5-$10 on fiverr/seoclerks), try promoting some affiliate links. If you have a positive ROI, then you're good to go for bigger budgets and so on. Good luck!

I am actually living at home and commuting so if I purchased a rig I would not have to pay for electricity. My parents honestly would not care if the bill went up. I'm not too sure if I have faith in cryptocurrency though.

I will definitely start looking into stocks. Everything I've learned from stocks have been from people in my family and they have always told me the stock market is not worth it unless you have a couple hundred thousand to invest. That's the main reason I've always steered clear of it. $600 a month is definitely not bad though!

Don't worry I've wasted enough money purchasing Ebooks and peoples "Private Methods" and I know all that is bs.
Also, I'll start looking at advertising and PPC and CPA. I've tried it in the past but did not really invest much.

I'm welcome to Blackhat ideas as well.

Also lol at whoever said that IM during college might be too much and then suggested day trading bitcoin.

You could invest time make a website in some niche. Server and domain costs are pretty negligible. I'm wary of any investment opportunities in the IM world, unfortunately, it would be great but its all too sketchy. Buying a site and content wouldn't be a bad idea, but it is a bit of a gamble as well.
