Help me find a thread: Facebook Advertising

I read a very interesting thread on here some months back regarding a method that allows you to post a link to a Facebook group (to a legitimate site) and deliver a custom pop up advert to those that click. I can't find this thread anywhere.

Does anyone know this method, or where I can find this thread again?
