Hey everybody!
In the next month or so I'm going to start a new website journey. Im looking to find a theme for an seo service website with a very profitable domain. It needs to be professional but attractive. Open to each and every suggestion! Every answer is appreciated.

On Tumblr I use Synex. Its really clean, and its free!
 
Thanks for the source JunkFood! I definitely would like to go paid as I want something at least somewhat unique. I've used tf for another website and the theme was quality forsure. The only thing Im worried about is most of the nice themes on tf have 500+ downloads already and im not quite sure I want the same theme as 500 other people... Though I suppose I could tweak it enough to be different. Thanks for the suggestions AnotherOne! I found some on there that I like too, but once again a little worried about how saturated they are.
 
Woothemes have a lot of professional free theme options available. Just that, the HTML editing is a little different on their framework, but it will not take long to get used to in order to customize your theme better.

I've been a Thesis guy for about 3 years now but since Thesis 2 sucks ass I still use Thesis 1.8.5 which works flawlessly for me.

It's pretty easy to make it look professional if you know how to do the CSS stuff. In fact I'm using it for 15+ sites now.

But with the latest changes in their policies and their general arrogance towards paying customers I would probably stay away from them if I were a new customer.

Themes I also tried and which I trust to fit your needs:

* Elegant Themes
* Woo Themes
* Headway Themes (neat drag and drop stuff)
* Genesis Themes

There is also a tiny company from Germany selling their themes for as low as 12 Euro per licence. They are currently my favorite theme developers because they're nice and they build excellent code. Have a look here: elmastudio.de
 
Try Platform pro - this is a great customizable theme so you can create pretty much anything out of it.
