Help me?! Facebook Page Likes.

I'm un-employed (for now) and I'm about to graduate high school. I'm in a band and there's another band that has my band's name, and we have to get more likes on Facebook than them so they change it. Could anyone tell me easy methods / sites to increase the likes on my page? fb.com/headwalkhc Thanks in advance!

The best free way to get more likes on a Facebook page is really a two-fold strategy. First (and probably most importantly) you have to give people a reason to like the page. This is especially important if they don't know you. When I look at your page, there isn't much going on. If I'm a music fan and I stumble across your page or maybe I see you online promoting it, there is only a few pics and limited posts. I would start by adding a ton of content. Post images of your band rocking out. Make videos and post those. Make really entertaining videos of your band playing or doing funny things in their spare time. Post music tracks for people to listen to. Put as much cool and entertaining content out there as possible.

Once you have some content on there, share it anywhere you can. If you have a website or a friends website, promote the page on there. Act as the page and interact with other pages and individuals on Facebook. When people interact with your page, be sure and respond quickly. If you maintain an email list (even if its just your friends and your band mate's friends) use it. Email everyone you know and tell them to like the page. Encourage people to share your page or links to your videos, images, tracks, etc. Really when you don't have money to spend, the caliber of your content is that much more important. If you can create some really kick-ass content, people will promote it for you.

It looks like you are off to a pretty good start already with over 1,000 likes. It seems like if you added some good content you shouldn't have an issue getting some more attention.

I'd check out fiverr. Surely you can scrounge up $5 from somewhere or somebody. There are a couple gigs there that are giving 2k 'Likes' that have really solid reviews and feedback. Be careful with who you choose if you go this route. There are good like and bad likes. Choose someone with a solid history of providing likes that don't just disappear after you pay the supplier and your accounts get banned. PM if you want, I'll send you the gig links from fiverr.

Yes, the likes are not at all targeted and you could consider them 'fake'. But if your goal is simply to garner more likes than your competition then you may as well buy them.
But in order to circumvent any possible controversy or alarms, see if you can get them at a fixed rate (eg 65 per day), and not a one time influx of a huge amount of likes.
