Hey guys,


I rarely do this but I am at the point of just selling my sites cuz sick of them not earning. Check out my site http://www.watchdoctorwho.co.uk, first page for a few terms in the UK and getting around 500-600 uniques per day. Earnings? $2, if that. Can some vets on here have a look and tell me what the hell I can do to at least increase income to a measly $10 a day! I can't figure it out :(

Well when it comes content locker, when i click mouse outside content locker it gets me back to homepage, fix that, and why use SMS? Try Email offers, it takes 30 seconds for them to do, and u make $1-$2.

How many leads do you get daily.
 
I get about 2 leads a day. I have a ton of these sites and this is the only one that earns anything. Hmm sms is auto selected i think but I'll try removing them all and see what happens. Thanks for the tip. Oh for the record, email submits aren't usually found in content locker networks that support this gateway.
 
your site doesnt look believable

put a tease time on allow them to watch five minutes first so they know its real and remove the pop up it opens in front of the content locker

also add some more stuff to monetize it

go to amazon affiliate sign up there and promote box sets of doctor who down the sides

promote a clickbank product of watching tv online aswell

them ideas might not work just keep trying different things until you see what works best

if it comes to it remove your content locker and sign up to a site which pays you for watching videos (if u cant find one let me know ive got one somewhere just cant rember what its called right now) if your getting 500 uniques daily who watch one episode using a site that pasy your for video you should at least get $15 a day

oh yeh and edit your content locker so it looks more like its part of the site its a completely different colour
try to add your domain somewhere so they at least know its something to do with your site

OMFG Luka, I think u may have cracked it. Was right under my nose the whole time 95% of my offers are mobile submits and a couple of my sites are geared towards an older generation who probably don't use mobiles as easily. Gonna play about with all the offers as 95% of my traffic is UK so will let u know my findings. Can't believe i never even thought of it....

When I went to view "The End of the World" in season 1 and clicked the play button, a popup opened and took me to a new tab in Chrome. I saw what seemed like an aff ID flash by in the address bar, so are you doing some sort of CPC popups for your videos? I was confused by the popup and at that point, I would have left your site if I was a visitor. After closing the new tab, I saw your content locker, which I assume works.
 
And tbh I think making the design a bit better would be better, just do small changes.
 
i'm on firefox 4,
your adbrite banners are just showing "your ad here" instead of an actual ad
and you content locker just goes to the home page when i click on it
so.. i currently have no way of making you any money, even if i wanted to =P
 
Right guys turned off mobile submits and income went to $0, i think there's just bad coding in MG. The biggest problem I've noticed is I have almost exclusively UK traffic and there's only ever 2 offers or so in the content gateways. I'm trying to find a UK affiliate that would interest people and tbh the only one I've seen has been lovefilm.

Affiliatebuzz has done nothing. Adbrite was paying pennies, bidvertiser got nowhere. I've applied to chitika. Can't think of anything....

Go for Affillion.
 
I would suggest you add more banners and images. And little snippets of text here and there just to make it look more believable. Tease time should also work. Are you sure your traffic stats are 100% correct? If yes, then it must be the offers on your gateway. For UK offers try applying for Profitistic. They're OK I believe.

You'll probably have to experiment. Maybe its the content. Why don't you remove your gateways for a day and see if the 'time on site' increases. That way you can be sure your content is fine.

A lot depends on the niche and I'm not into episodes but with 500 - 600 uniques you should be able to make a bare minimum of $20 - $25 even with poor conversions and EPCs.

Okay thanks guys. In all honesty I just can't be bothered redesigning lol. I'm gonna try and get $10 a day from all of them and if not sell the lot. I'm good at getting them all to rank in google, just not converting visitors to sales lol.

Okay affillion and profitistic i'll look into. I think I need to make a custom gateway and blank referrer

Oh also does affillion accept copyright content?
 
I have run tonnes of these sites

You need a new theme for a start

and make the site look better

set up each post as an episode so they can see them

then attach the gateway to "watch"
 
Ha Ha let me know if you're selling I'd love to buy them if that's the kind of traffic they get.
 
Let me know what your offer for the lot is and i'll consider. Would grab analytics data as they all fluctuate
