Hi there. I would like to ask everybody's opinion on what to do with my EMD site.

1. It's a softcore niche blog, 3-word EMD, but not branded (something like nicecutepeopleDOTorg)
2. It's 3 years old.
3. Has lots of content ( 10 thick-content pages, 80% thin (80-100 words) and 20% (320-420 words) posts).
4. Has 4.5K G+1s (site) 2K G+ Page followers, 337 G+ Community members, 600+ Twitter followers, 150 Tumblr fans and 10.5K Facebook fanpage likes. It also has a backlink from Pinterest, Reddit, YouTube and Dailymotion.
5. No Manual Webspam actions applied (I thinks it's the EMD penalty, Panda and Penguin that are affecting the site)
6. Pre-EMD, Panda and Penguin: 1500-1700 visitors/day. Post-EMD, Panda and Penguin: 380-480 visitors/day
7. Right now, it's #9 on the 1st page of G SERP if you enter "nicecutepeople" (just an example) with the G+ Community at #1 and the Facebook page at #2. Entering "nice cute people" will display the same result except that my site is in page 3 of G's search page.

Back in March 2014, visits are 330-440/day. I've made some changes to it, like applying nofollow on outbound links and removing backlinks from thin content referring websites. I disavowed the links via Gwebmastertools those that I can't remove. I also applied a mobile-responsive theme, reduced the ads to 6 (2 above the fold, 3 within the content (plugrush) and 1 at the footer) and updated it daily. I did all of it this month (April 2014).

After doing all those, traffic rose by 30% and pageviews are up by 90%. I know it's nice but still far from the 1500 visits/day the site used to have. What I'm trying to decide on is do I keep this EMD site alive and keep improving it, or just make another site with a different name (semi-branded). Actually, if it weren't for all the G+1s, Twitter followers and FB fans, I would've made another site already.

So If I'm going to keep my EMD site, what are the things you think I should do to keep the good results coming? My target is to get that 1500 v/day back or even more. All opinions will be appreciated. Sorry If my English is not very good.

More Content ;) Turn it to an authority site with 100+ "thick" Posts

1. Are you sure you removed all bad backlinks?
2. Are your post "thick content" posts? (so did you something about Panda as well?) According to your descriptions you have lots of thin content posts and havent done anything about that, so the Panda penality may still apply to your site
3. Why would you apply nofollow to all outbound links? This is not natural whitehat! Linking to other sites is natural, especially I wouldnt nofollow links to authorities/hubs...

1. I removed all those bad links that I have control of. Those that I cannot remove (the ones on abandoned blogspot blogs and non-replying webmasters), I disavowed via GWMT.

2. There are 12 pages (PAGE) which have thick content. This is one of the things that I'm weighing. If I'm going to "thicken" my previously thin posts, should I do that on this EMD site or change domain name first and then modify the thin content?

3. Most of my posts contains images to free image hosting site so I applied nofollow on them. I have do - follow applied to all links to social sites.

Thanks for your feedback.

I'd keep improving it and adding great content.

Proper link structure in terms of your site's architecture (think breadcrumb) will go a long way as well.
