Help me decide between these 2 methods

Hey guys

Basically I'm a total beginner. I've made $14 with BassTrackerBoats' Facebook method, but couldn't replicate / scale it, so I wrote it off as beginners luck, and stopped.

After enormous amounts of research I've landed at 2 methods that intrigue me and I thought I'd try:

- Create an "entertainment website" in a certain broad niche, hijack free traffic from reddit, create a small brand, monetize with Adsense
- Create a small niche site, attempt to rank for the smallest keywords (kws with 20-150 searches / month, 10-15 kws in total) since no one is doing SEO for these, monetize through Amazon affiliate links

These are the ones that made more sense to me and seemed easy enough to attempt. Any advice in regards to easiness, pros/cons, tips would be greatly appreciated.

My advice and regards:

- Make your entertainment website and hijack traffic from reddit.

- Create your small niche website and "go ahead" and monetize with adsense.

- Since no one is doing SEO for those keywords you have, ya go ahead and monetize through amazon links.

What tools do you use currently?

Why can't you try both?

As this would be my first attempt at SEO ever, I'm not currently using any tools.

Don't use tools on both of them then, what kind of BS is this?

You should be building 25+ websites and seeing which work well, not limiting yourself to one with niches you do not know will work for you.

I didn't want to divide my attention between them, but since two of you already recommended it, I'm definitely gonna consider doing both. Any other tips are still welcomed

why stop using btb's method when you already got $14 with it? you should be doing it more smartly. that $14 should keep you going and feel more motivated around it.

as for your question think for the long term income. both ideas can generate long term income but for me i'd be doing niche site and monetizing it with amazon and since no one doing SEO for the keywords you better jump on it right away to avoid competition.
