Help me create a lyrics site

I need to create a lyrics site with these features:

-user-submitted content(where users also get to edit content posted by others)
-page counter on all pages
-point-based reward system for submitting content
-system for managing periodic raffle draws based on user activity.

This is such a competitive niche, it's not really even a niche anymore. It has turned into an over saturated market. Like someone said above, you will need at least a few thousand dollars to get the project started, and you would have to take a gamble on Google being nice to you and putting you in the ranks.

Not saying it's impossible, but it's defintley an oversaturated market now.

First of all there are some ready-made databases of approximately 50k lyrics that you just import in your website. I have the impressions that the biggest lyrics websites have subscriptions and generate automatic content from every song that is published.

For your questions if you know joomla and you would like to try it out:

This is a content construction extension. You have a template in the backend which you have to create using html or "something else",visitors simply fill in boxes and the article is submited using a specific style.
2.Page counter is a basic thing in Joomla. If you mean something else please elaborate
3.For the points you have some options:
This is a points extension but i would advice you to search for ,install it and configure. You will have a full membership website with incentives and reward points.
4.Please explain what you need a bit more

I do, however, think you could make a Facebook/MySpace application doing this. But that would cost thousands to develop.

when i said page counted i actually meant a way of keeping tabs on how many times a page is viewed

and the lyrics are in a local niche with not much competition.

is there like a DIY application to help me design that
