I did some research on Google, and it made me more confused about choosing the best password manager.

So which one of these is the best in terms of security and ease of use(especially on Android-based mobile/tablet)?
  1. 1Password
  2. LastPass
  3. Bitwarden
  4. Dashlane
  5. Keeper
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated

I used roboform for several years.
Now i use Lastpass. Works great.

I think you first need to think about where you want to store the vault, As far as i know every password manager creates a database which is encrypted.
Do you want to store this locally, or give a random business access by storing it in their cloud?

Both come with their pros and cons ofcourse:

Dashlane seems like a clear winner to me

Take a look at: privacytools . io/software/passwords/ .

It is up to you if you want to store it in a cloud or maybe local or own your own server.

I use roboform, but I don't recommend it.

I was using Dashlane in the past but the fact that you can only store 50 passwords on the free version is a bummer. If I wanted to make the investment, I would choose dashlane.

Google password manager is still nice :)

KeePassX is absolutely the best for me.

Take a look at KeePassXC, a community fork that has improved quite a lot over KeePassX in recent years and with frequent updates (KeePassX last updated in 2016). If you run on Linux, you also don't need the bloated mono libraries as well.

Intressting topic, I was looking for a good team pw manager since months, but havent found anything good

I used Roboform for a while, but Lastpass works better for me right now.

+1 for LastPass
Using it across devices and can share access with someone without providing the actual password.

I highly recommend LastPass, I've been using the paid version for years and haven't regretted it for a moment.

I have been using Lastpass for years. That is the one which is the best password manager for me. Simple and effective.

I hope it helps. Thanks!

Get yourself .edu email from eBay for a few dollars or find a method to make one and you'll get lastpass for free for 6 months
