Help me choose domain extension!

Which domain extension to choose?

Hi there,

I want to open a new Shopify store and have two choices:
  1. keywordstore.com
  2. keyword.store
As Com is not available, which one should I go after?

Please also write the reason

I would choose .com. Because, not everyone familiar with .store. You can also combine keyword with store (or the synonym like shop, market, stock, business, retail, etc).
 
#1 because it helps use another keyword "store" to identify you also. and a .com looks more professional than .store
 
You have to buy .com anyhow, even if you go with .store, you have to purchase the .com version to save stealing of traffic from future.

I will go with .com always, unless i am starting a country specific website
 
Keywordstore.com
Dot com has more authority. It's easier to remember for your customers.
It's better for ranking.

.com would be the first choice everytime, provided it's not a penalised domain.
