I want to host around 5 websites all will be running on wordpress.

I am pretty confused, what is the difference between shared hosting and wordpress hosting?

Also ipage vs godaddy vs site5 vs bluehost?

What do you guys recommend? Any other better hosting services?

Mate try to see here to choose good hosting plas based on true reviews: http://www.webhostingstuff.com/deals/Hot-Deals.html

Shared hosting means that you've a part of a virtual/fisical server where you can install all you need.

Don't choose WordPress hosting because have really high cost but have no advantages! You can choose every hosting company that offers linux server with basic SQL databases and Apache. No more than this.

you could get a basic VPS from 123systems or you could just go with blue host.

no need to purchase wordpress hosting.

If you can quote your budget for an entire year, many will help you find the right host.

I know there are quite a few free hosts out there , no strings attached... let me know if you want them too.

I've been with HostGator for about 2 years. Always received good support and stuff.
In the Cpanel you can setup a WP site in just a few seconds :)

I've experience with blue host and it's great hosting provider, expecially for WordPress. In any case are all good hosting companies and you can try (I haven't never tryed only ipage).

My budget is around 130$ but ofc cheaper is better, hostgator is famous I might go with that.

I have moved from Hostgator to Hostwinds for around 6 - 7 months now, and I can say I am very happy with their service and support.

Mate actually I'm using Kolst (italian hosting provider) and with 70 € I can install 20 domain on the web space and if the uptime it's less than 99,99 they will offer a free year of hosting. (Google the company, I'm not affiliatye with it).

is godaddy hosting any good? and I am scared of going with a small company... like "Kolst".

Also how can I move domains from godaddy to a registar like Kolst?

What traffic do you want to handle daily?
If it's a small amount then go with a shared host, otherwise for high resource websites I recommend a VPS or Dedi server.

well I am aiming big but I can always upgrade right? For now I will go with shared.

Is godaddy good?

You can sign up for our Value plan for only $2.99 if you like, which comes with:

With Softaculous, you could instal Wordpress with just 1 click of a button.

hmmmm so far I only hear good stuff about "siteground" but it seems very expensive.

I don't need offshore. I am full whitehat, it's just I don't know who to choose

I don't recommend neither iPage nor Godaddy.

Instead I recommend you host-stage.net.

Hey! Looks like you're back from the ban that you got when you decided to mess with MuscleTeen :D (j/k)

I posted this on another thread recently, but I'm just going to paste it here for you:

Affiliates love promoting HostGator due to the high commissions they pay. But I spent quite some time digging REAL reviews on the web, and from my findings the top 2 hosts are:

1. MDDHosting
2. StableHost

MDDHosting being the winner.

isn't that your sig? I don't want advertisements guys, those are biased.
