Thank you for the suggestion, but I want to go with something generic. Downloaders don't need to know that users are making money from them

There are hundreds of free "upload" domains out there, I just wanted one that sounded right. If these were high traffic keywords EMD of course that I wouldn't share them out here, but if someone picks all these, I will just find a dozen more, so not really a big deal.
I think I'm going with uploadive.com, it sounds fine, it's short and brandable.

Uploadive isnt very good IMO.... Doesnt sound good at all. Im sure we can find a better one.

Yeah, that's what I thought. In my head it sounded good because I wasn't pronouncing it right (I'm not a native english speaker).
Maybe chiefupload.com, it was also one of my preferred ones and it's leading the vote count (only 3 votes still).

As I said earlier, I want the domain to be generic. If a downloader can clearly see that you are making money out of him then the conversion rate will be lower.
I have some features in mind that will certainly make me better than sharecash. It includes using CLP to increase the payouts and some other nice features

I think ChiefUpload sounds great. Design the website to match the brand name.
I would suggest you make it like a "heavy" kind of website. Tough.
Take a look at Papa Nuke from SenukeX. He looks tough and I think that's what your website should be like (if you choose chiefupload). The only other good one in that list would be braveupload imo.

You should theme it around a native-american indians, complete with tomahawks and feathers etc... You should have a badass main character called 'The Chief' who the website centres around.

Yeah, that's the idea. To start with I will use a regular admin theme (that looks awesome btw) so I can display many stats to the uploaders.
That will be one of my main features: users will have graphs, tables and all sorts of stats so they can keep track of their earning, everything on a nice formatted page.
When we grow a bit, I'll certainly pay for a nice mascot as Papa Nuke.
I just finished coding all the registration/login process. I'm now starting the upload system and I'm waiting for the Affiliate Manager from AdGate and CLP to get in touch with me so I can code the most important part, the content locker.
I expect it to be up for beta in 1/2 weeks.
That's an excelent domain. Unfortunately these kind of hosts usually only allow files of 50/100MB, so it would make little sense.
ChiefUpload.com just bought, I'll let you know when I have something ready.
