okay - I am going to start dabbling in blogging while putting adsense on my page, I think I may have a decent longtail keyword, but I am not all that educated in keyword research and ranking - I think I know the bare minimum, I will tell you what I have found, you let me know if you think I should hop on it.

I go to google keyword tool and type in my phrase, and my exact phrase gets:

9,900 local/month
27,100 worlwide

the little competition bar - nothing - no competition...

I type in the phrase without quotes and I get something like 27,000,000 and when I ad the quotes, my result gets 10 ...

did I find the holy grail or does it depend on other factors??

do not see the competition number - instead see how many backlinks the top competitors have got. This process can become dead simple if you use market samurai.

Could easily depend on other factors. If there is no ad competition, that means they pay 1cent or something per click. Meaning you are going to make like maybe $10.00/month in adsense at best, if you rank first for it.

Where are you thinking that is the holy grail? What are you basing that on? Just seems like a very average Adsense word to me.

I would say based on your 27,000,000 results, that its the order of the words that means the most. Perhaps your ordering is not exactly what people are searching for.

yeah - as I said, I am not very knowledgeable on adsense/the profit capabilities/how much clicks are worth and keyword research, I guess I will just give it a shot, and see what comes of it????
