A Subdomain like .edu with good monthly traffic and high DR
Would it be effective to use it as a guest post for online casino themed websites?
At ~$60 per guest post for each of these sites. Is it effective and worth it? Has anyone tried these sites? Please let me know!

The SEO value depended on where your article posted, if it is post on blog section then it is better.
if it is posted on user generated community then it is less value. But must check your link is indexable to google.

Is it do follow or no follow? If do follow, then I guess it will be worth it.

You should try it, because no one can evaluate whether it is effective or not?

If you use Meta to advertise, the only way to evaluate is to set up many advertising groups and evaluate the effectiveness after each day, each week, each month.

You will draw experience for yourself, and what is best for your business

Casino links on an education-related domain are gonna look unnatural, and Google isn’t dumb. They know when a .edu page is just a glorified link farm. For $60, it’s not bad if the page gets indexed and has some actual authority.

SEO value depends on the its article placement: posting on blog section taking more value while user
generated community posts have less. Ensure your link is indexable by Google.

If the website’s policy doesn’t explicitly ban gambling-related content, then it could be worth testing carefully. Just monitor performance and compliance closely.

This is probably the worst take I've heard all year. Have you seen how well UGC is currently doing?

Just make sure it’s not a spammed-to-death subdomain or it’s a total waste
