I just learned about the ability to make money using ads. I was wondering if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction, preferably using Facebook or a website like that because I don't know how to start one myself. Also how to collect money and what ad services to use, basically just the basic stuff. Thank you.

Well, there are quite a few ways you can make money using ads. One way is to place ads on your own website using an ad network such as Google Adsense or Chitika. These ads are often CPC (cost-per-click) and CPM (cost-per-mille) ads which pay you a varying amount of money (how much you are paid depends on a variety of factors) every time a user clicks or views your ads respectively.
Another option is to make money with PPC (pay-per-click) advertising using Google Adwords, Bing Ads, and 7Search (although you cannot make money through arbitrage using Adsense and Adwords). Many people here will often create PPC campaigns to drive traffic to a landing page for a product (their own or an affiliate product). Since you're interested in Facebook, you could also try using Facebook's advertising platform.

Forget about it. You need incredible amounts of visitiors and pageviews to make a living from ads alone.
My ad-revenue has gone down 20% this year due to adblock alone.
Maybe one day adsense will "block" the adblockers and it will be viable again.
If you still want to do it:
- You will need at LEAST 30k pageviews per day to even attempt to make a living
- You will need to keep that up
- You best bet is probably running a forum, since it allows you to kind of outsource content creatinon.

To be honest I'm using it myself.
Google needs to come up with a way to puniSh adblockers. However, that will be quite hard.
It did force me to restructure my site into a subscription based system.
For now that seems to be the future: More subscriptions, less free stuff. The really huge sites that outsource content creation (aka reddit, forums ect) are an exception there.
Also with the US economy going down the drain sooner or later, you can expect even less revenue from ads.

You could either try Google Adwords or even Bing. Google has a lot more traffic, but it is much more costly. Bing you can find the same keywords costing you a fraction of the price. You just need to be careful about the ads because even though you might get a lot of clicks you are not necessarily guaranteed to make sales.

How to make people click on ads of my site? I am getting about 120 views each day. 1000 impression per day. It is a site with scraped content from YouTube. The site itself isn't that old. It is only about 3 months old so is the domain.
I am monetizing it with Google AdSense. Would you mind helping me please? Please, I really need it.
My 80% of traffic is from USA alone. The website is about cryptocurrency. All the content are embeded video content from YouTube.
List of what I have done.
- Researching keywords that I should rank for.
- Submitted my site to a lot of (free) online directories.
- Submitted my site and its sitemap to major search engines. Such as Yandex, Google, Bing/Yahoo.
- Have created social profiles on Twitter, Tumblr. Facebook Page, Medium, Blogger Blog, Steemit are yet to be added to get backlinks from the sites to my site.
That's mostly it. Please help.
