Help : Laptop infected by Spora Ransomware

Hi guys ,
My laptop was infected by Spora ransomware virus.
I can't open important files in my laptop.
Any proven ways to disinfect it?

Lmao give me that virus. I want to put it on my virtual machine and call a fake Microsoft tech call center to fix my 'Vindows pc'
 
Ransomware works by encrypting the files on local hard drive so theoretically you can't just wipe them out with an antivirus and recover your files. Take this as a lesson and always have a backup of important docs at cloud.
 
don't know if this will working..
bot your laptop using linux live on cd.. find and copy your important files to fd...
re-partition your hd and re-install your OS..

Find a linux distro you can be comfortable with and stay with it lol

Hello,

Pro-tip don't use an important laptop for porn lol. No seriously though if you have a Windows you can recover from the dates prior, only problem is you do not get everything back just everything you've had on that date of backup.
