HELP! Instagram is trying to verify my account

I was an idiot and forgot to update my phone number for my IG account. Now they won't let me login until I verify my account. The issue is that IG is sending a text to my old number that I don't have access to anymore. When I try to replace the number with my current one it won't send a text

Anyway around this or is my account done for

You can try to go to help.instagram.com and make a ticket or email them with the problem. I had the same problem once, had to sent a proof picture of myself and a code. It wil take a couple of days but it can work if it's a normal account.

What I'm worried about is that my account looks very ummm "sketchy"
I'm using it for CPA and it has a landing page link in the bio and no pictures. Will they not want to help?

uhhmm, you can try offcourse. But i think you can better concentrate on making a new account
