Im not sure if this is the right place for this but yolo
So I just started coding on my own recently because I sick and tired of playing with snap blocks and Java 1 basics in class. I’ve been working on small projects and stuff in kali Linux, and I even finished making my own program a few days ago, using selenium and ChromeWebDriver to automate instagrams appeal forms. But now I have a couple questions because I wanna explore, learn, and do more with what I’ve already done!
Well first off, as I’ve said I created a program to automate instagrams appeal forms. However, I now want this program to run 24/7 at exactly the end of every 24hrs. So is there anyway I could do that, or is it even possible? I was doing some research and I might have to use a web server. I haven’t really grabbed the concept and it seems really complex. And if that isn’t possible is there anyway I could at least run this program on replit so I could still access it remotely somehow?
Secondly I was wondering if there was a way to make my proxy chains my default ip immediately after I startup kali Linux instead of it only running when I start it manually and stopping when I close my browser. And, is there a way I could integrate proxy chains into my Python program somehow. I’m aware that ig blocks IP address, I can’t even make accounts anymore. I don’t want to the the same thing with the appeal forms and ruin any chance of me getting my accs back. Now that I’m automating stuff, I don’t wanna get my ip permanently blocked by ig or Google for something dumb and harmless. So when I run these programs is it possible to integrate my proxychain configs from kali into my code, or at least run my programs using one?
You might be wondering why the first program I’ve ever written was an “appeal bot” of all things lmaoo. It was because I thought it was the right step in learning how to renable my own account. I’ve heard that there’s ways you could renable them yourself and wanted to learn so I could get mine back, but after multiple searches, I haven’t found anything. That s why I’d come to this website so often, “blackhatworld.” I thought there would be something concerning the topic lol. But the only code/bots I found were for automating social medias and nothing else. That’s all I’ve seen and read about here, so now I’m kinda interested; which now leads me to my last and final questions about social media automation.
So with selenium I could automate websites and I wanted to do the same with ig or Twitter to gain followers. After all it should be the same concept right? But after coming to this website multiple times I’ve learned that: 1. Instagram is totally out of the picture for automation, they even ban their own accounts that are just normal so Twitter might just be my best bet 2. Even though selenium can automate websites It might not be the best thing to use. “InstagramAPI/TwitterAPI” and “Jarvee” is all I see and hear when it comes to automating these sites. And 3. I think i might need a keystring or something like that to access the full api because they’re locked or something?
So finally….
Is automation a waste of time and money? It seems fun but I don’t wanna start learning something that’s going to be useless when I finally grasp its concept. And even though Twitter isn’t as tight ass ig with bots is there still a chance I could get banned and how easily?
What is some tips or starters if I were to actually start? For example how would I protect my main ip from getting blocked? Could I write my own programs and still be successful or should I use something like Jarvee? Could I actually make money from growing large accounts like this? And just to be sure, I most definitely shouldn’t even consider automating instagram.
Sorry if this was longer than it needed to be and and LARGE thanks in advanced to those who stayed and answered my questions. I wrote one program and now I feel like I own the world, we’ve all experienced it once igs. So yeah please drop any pointers if you can, many of y’all have been doing this for a while so it be nice to get some advice from the pros!
Thanks!
