HELP!! I'm being threatened by a vendor here!

I need help immediately.

I hired someone here to do some work - paid him in advance and he couldn't do what he promised. Can't get a refund. Don't want a refund. I just put up a couple of comments here on threads he was on to warn others and now he's gone beserk on me. He has all my site and personal details and is threatening to report me to all sorts of authorities, etc etc and permanently damage my site and my business.

I have amended my comments here - so there's no issue for him now but he continues to harrass and threaten me and my family.

What do I do?

I';m the one who got screwed here and he's threatening me !!!

Please help..

Honestly you probably need to post this in the shit list section and get one of the mods involved.

Make sure you have as much documentation of his threats as you can.
 
I've now had 8 calls on my cellphone from INDIA and when he was supposed to be working for me he couldn't be reached...

As a rule: Do not ever back down to treats from someone that has scammed you. Not ever.

Even if you are blackhatting on your site(s) you should and probably have protected yourself from getting caught. Just recheck the information he has on you, protect yourself some more.

Ask for the tape of him making love to another man, this can be monetized.

The fact he is responding shows you he is hurting. Why stop now?
Even if he does try to strike back he will most likely get preoccupied with other things soon enough.
Striking back at you will not gain him money so it gets boring rapidly if there is no personal motivation. That is the big difference between scammer and a victim, the latter can usually find the motivation to persist in his new found hobby.

Try to think of how you respond to a schoolyard bully. This is basically the same thing, RL info on you or not.
If you show fear it will only get worse. For example: After you are blackmailed into buying those lists he is referring to, he would demand the lost interest and good reviews on him. Pay up or else...

Just my 2 cents. :)

if he is capable of doing all those things and serious about it, he wouldn't say it to you. unless he want to scare the hell out of you and give in to his threats. so he can gain money from you. Because if he truly cares about his business, he would accept the criticism that you said and try to make an explanation about it. So don't get worry too much. and let the mods handle this one. it would be very helpful if you tell us his name. :)

simply PM me that IF MODS ARE AGREE .if he is from india .its dam easy for me to judge his actual capacity (which i can say is that he is carp and is di**less)
he cant do anything .just abuse him on phone if he call you .thats it

Post his details No One Should have this type of Shit hanging over their heads. Follow all the good advise given by your fellow Black hatters. I have delt with many different people from India some very very good and many shit. The bad ones shout, they scream, they threaten and most of all they talk through their tight little arse holes. It makes them feel good as they show their friends in India I just pmsl Do not be scared do not worry. He has gone well overboard especially as he has threaten you and your family (Completely and totaly Shit thing to do....) that alone will and should get him banned closed down and burried.

Thanks for the support - I have also dealt with other INdian vendors who were EXcellent and I constantly refer them to others...I believe when he failed to execute the project and was called out on it he decided to go on the offensive instead...
 
Hes halfway across the world from you.... honestly you cant take his threats very seriously especially towards your family, etc. Although it would make my blood boil also, they are clearly just empty threats.

As for other things like reporting you, trying to get you deindexed, etc. If you`re doing illegal or shady things then yes maybe you have something to be concerned about but it could come from anyone then.

My 2 cents.
 
If he's got your site info, you need to change all of the access passwords that he has. If you created an FTP account for him to your hosting, then delete and change your own passwords just to be safe.

Once that is done, there will really be no way for him to access your sites unless he is a hacker. Then, you need to contact mods and get this joker blacklisted here.

You could also employ the help of some of us to spam the crap out of him so he leaves on his own.

The bottom line is that if he did not deliver as promised, then he should be outed.

Seems to be yoloyd is viewing this thread. Let me wait for one more hour for his reply.

I asked OP to post the proof of threatening messages, before initiating any action against yoloyd.
