Hello all.
I use Yandex Metrica. If you haven't heard of it, it's an analytics tool but with added session capture. Basically you can watch how users have interacted with your site: what page they were on, where they scrolled, what they clicked and copied. It's very useful.
To the point of the post... I am aware that a competitor of mine is checking my site periodically. I know for a fact that it's him. When he checks my site, the unusual button below appears, covering much of the screen. It's nothing to do with my site (it has no calendars, content scheduling apps, etc.) and it only appears when he accesses my site, i.e. it doesn't appear for any other user, and of course doesn't appear for me. It must be some kind of tool he is using to help him analyse my site, or help him schedule things on his:
Yandex Metrica isn't perfect, so it's likely that the button isn't actually so long, covering most of the screen, but either way... This is my question.
Does anybody recognise this tool? It has a distinctive icon. Does anybody here use it, and what does it do? Here it is closer up.
I would guess that it's some kind of browser add-on that he's using. Thanks in advance.
