hey, i was looking for a mod i need advice :)
i started with a friend a business, we're specialized in developing softwares and apps with java and we have mastered Meteor js, we're now an official partner of Metero js and the first in nord africa.
now we're aiming to make our website ( www.hearken.io ) the first reference in africa by offering our services : making the dev work for startups ( Startup MVP ) and other services .
so my question is how can i promote the website ? should i look for a backlink service ? the website is just 8 months old ^^
pls advice me

May I ask why you chose .io ?
 
hmm well the idea is to be different than the mainstream even "hearken" is something not usual to hear ( old english )

You are effectively asking how to do SEO and marketing. Well, the culture here is that we are against spoon feeding but pro-sharing. So there is a ton of stuff in the forum but your responsibility to read the basics.

Also, your site is rather unoptimized, probably a good idea to fix it if you're selling consulting ;)

Make something for free like a ebook with articles from other sites. Ask them if they want to cotribute to the ebook with an article , you will add the source and they will share the ebook to their site. Then submit the ebook into free ebooks dictionarys , then cut down the articles and submit them into free article dictionarys with you link below.

i can invest in SEO but i don't know what kind of SEO service should take in this stage from here .
