PayPal is fighting big time with scammers as usual and because there are billions of accounts they are not able to check every account, they have like every other big company their own software that is checking and "locking" all new accounts.
I have created at least 50 new accounts on PayPal in some time and in almost 90% first-time transfer funds were blocked/locked.
This is happening all the time, especially with newly created accounts.
It's a safety measure for PayPal and "wtf is going on" for us lol
This is why people "hate" as they call them GayPal
because of all these safety things.
Scammers are all over the place, I understand we don't have a patient and we want our money instantly, especially when it's our first-ever money made.
I remember getting my first ever money 10+ years ago from AlertPay, ex Payza (closed now), I was waiting 42 days for a transaction that should have been finished and done in 5 working days.
It is what it is, but once all this is done and gone, OP you won't have problems with "waiting" anymore in the future with PayPal.
All the best
