I would really appreciate some help with this. I've built about 25 or so sites (autoblogs mostly) in the past and have never had this problem. I'm using wordpress and put the site up around July 9th. I currently have 4-500 word posts and will create more if I can figure out this problem. My previous sites appear in Google within the week.

When I search for the site name in quotes, "domainname.com" or "hxxp://domainname.com", nothing shows up except the backlinks. All of the backlinks (350) were manually created, no more than 15 a day and none pinged. I've been waiting for the site to get indexed before getting more aggressive with the backlinks. I'm using the Google XML sitemap plugin and KB robots plugin.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciate. Thanks for taking the time.

yeah use the site: to make sure. You may also want to manually submit a sitemap in Webmaster tools. I'm not sure if there would be any issues because it's an autoblog, but then you'll definitely be sure they crawled it.

Maybe do some high Pr blog comments.

And make sure at least some of your content is unique.

Thanks for the fast responses. I wasn't clear in my original post, sorry for the confusion. This is NOT an autoblog, the 4 posts are original content written my me. It's a review site for Amazon products. Some of the backlinks were to high PR sites and are a mix of blog comments and profile signatures.

I searched Google using site:domain.com, site:xxx.domain.com and site:hxxp://domain.com but my domain was found in all three cases.

I'm a little frustrated because this is my first attempt to make a site where all the content is original and would like for it to become an authority site one day. I was only making a few dollars here and there selling amazon products through autoblogs and wanted to make a real go at it. I couldn't stay ranked with the autoblogs, so I decided to not be lazy and make a real site. :(

I submitted my site to the Webmaster Tools so hopefully it will be indexed soon. Thanks everyone, I didn't know about Webmaster Tools.
