whenever i am trying to run a .exe installer it says xyz.exe stopped working...
i am using win vista on my laptop. Please somebody explain me how to get rid
of this error.

dude upgrade your vista to 7 and it will works..

btw which apps r u installing?

recently i have tried spinnerchief free version the same error occured

You might be missing a .net framework version. Download/install the latest version (and a couple of the previous versions) of .net framework, and make sure your anti-virus isn't deleting the .exes (because of blocks).

Try running a malware scan.

I think this is malware fault.

malwarebytes is good for scanning and it's free.
