[HELP]How to Redirect a Subfolder to a Subdomain properly?

I have implemented 301 redirection using htaccess and used "google change of address tool".
- Is it enough?
- Should i remove the old site from google index? Or I just let it indexed?
- If i let it indexed, doesn't it cause duplicate content?

Please help me, guys..

I would say it's enough an no you shouldn't do anything to get your old site removed wait for Google to do that for you.

Duplicate content isn't a worry if it's all on your site so just be patient and let Google find the changes you made.
