BHW,

I have been looking around to see options on how to 'hide' theme information appearing on 'view source code' information when people visit my site and hit right-click to check the info. Is there anyway to hide this information? I'm not good at any coding, development, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I'm using a html/css opencart theme.

Thanks in advance!

no, you can't completely hide it. What you can do for example is to rename the theme folder to something else, so when doing a view source the name of the theme won't show up that easily

Thanks, that helps for a start! (I'll rename it to my site name). Hope I'm not asking too much, but obviously everyone is going to know I'm using a theme for my site right? (even with the rename hiding the original theme info). Will that be an issue if I'm trying establish a 'legit' company to draw customers and for them to 'trust' the site to buy items? (my items are 100% legit and legal, with warranties and will be legally registered, etc.)

why would the theme be a problem for sales? I don't think anybody is doing a view source and inspecting the theme when he goes on a site to purchase a product
