Hi Friends

I am having Market samurai and i am doing keyword research for my websites, but now i like to conduct an competitive research -

can anyone help on how to find the approximate time like how many weeks or months will it take for given keyword to rank in Google first page.

is there any advance tool for this or any method to find the time line.

Thanks in advance. :)

There is no advance tool such like that. You have to analysis the data and competition. Go on you tube and search - How to research for keywords via makrket samurai. :) Make sure you research well before spending too much of your money on bad keywords.

"How long it takes to get to page 1?" is really dependent on 2 things. How much competition there is for the keyword and how many backlinks you are creating over time. First competition, the main numbers your looking for here at the top level are: the google index size, allintitle and allinurl. Those numbers will tell you at the aggregate level how many competing pages google has in its index. The allintitle and allinurl numbers will tell you what is the best backlink and page name strategy to use. After you go through that process and narrow down your keywords you'll want to dig into the top 10 listings and get the backlink counts for them. That will give you an idea on how difficult it will be to move listings. Second, you'll need to set up a sustained backlink building program over the course to 1 to X months depending on the level of competition. You'll want to included the keyword in the backlink anchor text. How long? There is usually a time tag from the time you create the links to the time they are indexed in Google and then aggregately have an impact on your rankings. Long story short. 1 - 2 months for low levels of competition 3-4 for medium etc. After the keyword research a sustained link building campaign over time is the best bet until you get the rankings you want. After that you can scale back to maintenance mode.
