Question guys!

I have this food blog, a PR3 blog with good amount of unique visits per day (1500 unique per day on average) with a 41/100 domain authority.

Now I am considering selling an ad space in there via textlink. How much do you think is the reasonable amount to charge for that since it will be a lifetime link.

Take note that I am limiting the text links ads to only 10.

Any thoughts?

If marketing firms offer around $50-$200/year for text links on small to medium sites. Now consider what the price (after the big discount) would be for lifetime for your site.
But I didn't hear anyone paying for lifetime text links in this business, its usually 6 months to 2 years max, but maybe its just me.

Thanks guys for the answers. Maybe I will try a yearly charge or something like that instead of lifetime links.

Why give them a lifetime link? Sell for 6, 12, 18 or 24 months at most but never lifetime. Better to build a recurring income so I would say 12 max

Tell them they can have a lifetime link only if they purchase the whole site for $$$$

Thanks for helping and reaching out regarding my questions in terms of blog link selling. I think yearly charge will be the most applicable one.

If i were you,i don't allow a lifetime text link. Because its a lose, financially. i always allow text link in specified/ limited period. That's good for every website. You can always raise it as your fan-base increases. :)
