I just opened up this site called:

hxxp://www.mp3sfree.net

I heard mp3 search engines are illegal, and that i'll get sued. I really want to prevent that :/ help?

Get offshore hosting immediately with an offshore ip. Also I thought it was only illegal if you host the files on your server?

If you you are not hosting the songs you are safe.

there are better ways to make money than this

sell the domain or park it. or just make a blog without hosting the mp3s yourself.

wrong timing, wrong niche my friend... Or you think a bit better about your hosting, or you get your site down.

Your wrong they will still find a reason to screw you up. I heard warez linking is just as bad. But offshore IP should be good. Dont trow in your real whois as well so they cant track you down. Try purchase the offshore hosting with a different name and stuff if you want to be 100% safe.

Is it still illegal if you do something like that one website does and uses a query in Google to find MP3s on web servers? I'd suggest that if it's not.

any free offshore hosting/ip now? :/ im using free hosting now cause im completely broke.

how much do you think it can sell for? =/

Not much about what you payed for it, Unless your getting alot of traffic and if so I suggest you park the domain and watch the money come in

really not much? it sounded like a good domain to me ._.

and as stupid as this sounds, i've never parked a domain before. do i just click parked domains in the control panel?

Honestly Just because it is a good domain name doesnt really mean to much unless its like something huge like michaeljackson.com etc The main thing they look for is traffic and consistency.

check this out for domain parking http://www.thewebreviewer.com/domain-parking-reviews.htm
