Hi,
I'm trying to send out a bunch of e-mails, but when I test send it to myself or colleagues or my personal e-mail account, it's going straight to the Junk Mail filter. How do I avoid this so Outlook / Hotmail etcera doesn't think it's Spam?
The e-mail is basically a block of html with images promoting our site.
Cheers
Sarah

you have to a subject line like hello or re: check this thanks.. or just look at the subject lines of the spam that gets past your email filters

I donnt recomand use html email spam, for me the word one have more power

Well, we've sent the emails now and perhaps they missed the Junk Mail filter on some considering we've had a few people asking to take them off our mailing list.

I'm not sure it's as simple as just changing the subject line, otherwise I think ours would have got through as we used 'Hiya Natalie, Hiya Sid', etcera.

We DID use html so perhaps that was the issue, we also had a problem with images displaying. Guess it's just one of those things to keep trying.

Oh, and yesterday 123-reg disabled our e-mail and website because of our 'spamming' - all sorted now, but just a word of advice to be careful how many daily e-mails you send out, half a million is NOT just a few ;)
