[Help] How bad is blogger for ranking?

Hi guys, I've been reading for a long time, but only recently I have started taking action.
You know the story... I'm saying I'm a newbie.

So I want to know how bad is a blogger for raking on G.
I mean, let's say I've found a keyword with somewhat decent (500 ~ 1000) monthly searches for an amazon product and it has close to zero competition.
Will I be able to rank it like a regular domain site or will it be much harder? If it is harder, why?

EDIT: Blogger OR wordpress.com... any of them...

if you look for free hosting i would go for Blogger!
buy a domain when you get some amazon sells. That Worked good for me!

use blogger without .com domain.

because big g love blogger.com

it can be rank too easy then .com
