Better go with more established websites. For example, I am using Namecheap at the moment and I paid for my unlimited-everything account $16... or $17 for one year, but it's true that I found this offer on a Black Friday sale. Still, it renews at $57,38 which is still better than mochahost who have increased my renewal price 2 times in the last 3 months of my annual contract to more than 40% over what I agreed to pay on my signup.

I know that for some people even $16 per year is a lot of money, trust me that I know this, I've been in a situation like this 8-9 years ago when I cheapskate'd on a hosting membership and i ended up with more troubles in the end. But if you run an online business hosting is one of the few services that you don't want to save money on if you have to compromise quality, especially today when people click away before your site even starts loading.

Oh well, nothing for it but to take a chance. Main reason I need a site right now is so I can use Prettylinks - doing something on the social platforms, and lots don`t like Bitly etc.

you can use different methods to afford some good money to invest later without any initial investments,
try with social platforms & affiliate offers, use relevant facebook groups, forums, Pinterest, Twitter, IG, etc...
