HELP: Hops from Product I'm not promoting at all!

This morning I've found out 600+ hops from a product...I'm not promoting at all!

The only thing I guess could somehow relate is that I've uploaded a couple of YT videos in the last 3 days (linking to OTHER products) for one of those videos I've purchased from Fiverr some YT views, likes & comments, but I've chosen one of the highest Rating Services (99% positive reviews) recommended from a BHW member.

So...how is this all possible??

I am too! but I've got them more than a year until now. I have tried to find the cause but still don't know anything.

I'm able of course, but for products I DEDICE myself to promote....
Point is: I've got hops from a product I'm NOT currently promoting!

Also....how the hell are we supposed to know the answer to this? This isn't a psychic forum.

Just ignore it, if you arn't promoting it, then it shouldn't concern you.

A forum supposed to be a place to share experiences, problems and look for help / as weel to give advice....or NOT?

So when you promote product "A" but you got clicks to product "B" (that you are NOT even promoting) you just say, "who cares"??

I guess it's bot click but I don't know how to, or how to prevent them?

I also get hops for some products I'm not promoting, but only1-2 hops. I don't know the reason.

Why don't you try to stop obsessing over stupid issues like this and use your time wisely.

It happens from time to time, because cb analytics doesn't give the right statistics.

because to me this is not stupid at all.

I'm not a Fxxxg Spammer, but I'm trying to establish a serious way to be an affiliate marketer.

That is why if something is going wrong and don't see a quick fix, I' ll try to share my experience to move one without the risk of being maybe banned from CB for a reason I cannot understand

thanks Ilias, It can be indeed that they switched the hops with the product I'm promoting on YT where I've purchased the views for...
I'll try to send them a ticket and see their reaction.

It happens sometimes. Someone else accidentally mis-spells their affiliate ID in the hoplink and you get credit for it.
If you are lucky, you might get some sales from them.
Sit back and enjoy the ride.

The only problem occurs if they are using your affiliate ID to promote ClickBank products using banned methods. In which case, you could get your ClickBank account terminated. You could let ClickBank know about it just so you have your ass covered. Other than that, forget about it.

A malicious person might do that deliberately. Copy a competing affiliate or vendor's hoplink and put it on a shitty cloaked site, then report it to ClickBank so they get their account banned.

Not sure exactly why either, but I do have "hops" registering as well, from products that I never officially decided to promote, ie: I created a hoplink but ended up not ever sending traffic to it, or using it in any way for that matter. I do know that never have I had hops from any products that I didn't create a hoplink for. So I would contact CB if that's the case for you.

Anyone know if there's any feature from Clickbank, to view all the hoplinks you've ever created?

I dont have experiences on this. But i believe it's a counter-offer. And you still earn from in.

There are times that the product you are promoting got displayed in a country that is not able to display your "product ad". Hence, the system automatically displayed an alternative or another product in lieu.

Secondly, it can also be an exit-offer.
If the viewer does not like the product he landed in to, he closes that tab, right?
Then this exit-offer pops-up as a counter-measure for you to earn.

If you do tracking, I fully suggest you try see from which country is that and target it.
