[HELP] Help me Suggesting the best thing :| [Programming]

I wanna Learn to Code ..
Am so so interested in Learning Programming Languages .. so that I Can make good and better conversions later (Obviously)
I have 2 best things in front of Me , PHP & JAVA ... But I donn know :-?? ahhh damn!! Hope u got me ?


Please tell me which is the better one , why is it better than the other , what about tomorrow/future of this language ??


P.S It would be GR8 if I can get some good sources to start with .. Learning !!

you want to learn only PHP and JAVA???i have some video tutorial set do u need them? youtube videos....

Learn both, you shouldn't be learning to code just to make money, you should be learning it because it's fun. Also, PHP and Java are generally used for much difference things, so if you're aiming for a specific project you'll need to tell us so we can help you choose.

HTML, CSS, Javascript (now more commonly jQuery/mooTools), PHP, MySQL = Online and for websites.
Java, C, C#, C++, VB, .net = Offline and for desktop programs.

C is however used for PHP when making modules for it. Making your own custom php modules is rare though so it shouldn't have any effect on choice.
