I bought one domain .com on Godaddy and now i can't trasfer my forum (on .altervista.org), can someone help me with teamviewer??

Does the website allow you to access a cpanel for hosting? You would need to point your dns nameservers on godaddy to your site. I don't know Italian but by the look of the site i don't think they will allow this. Try contacting them and askfor help.

are u trying to use yournamec0m for your forum instead of yourname-altvista ? if the answer is yes then you're not trying to transfer the domain. you're trying to forward your domain. transferring is more like you giving another godaddy account holder the domain.

i found a guide to forward the domain in the FAQ domain forward section. good luck

If I understand the content of altervista correctly, it's a site where they offer free hosting. And you have a forum hosted on altervista that you want to move onto the .com domain you have registered at godaddy. And now you want to self-host your forum on the .com you have registered. Is that correct? If so, what type of forum do you have (phpBB, WordPress/BuddyPress, or another framework)? Answering that will help us help you.

Well, it sounds like you want to move a forum that is running on myBB from the free host at altervista to a domain you own at Go Daddy. The first step I would do is to make a backup of your existing forum if you haven't already done that. Backups are always good to have. Then you can look at moving your forum. But start with making a fresh backup of the forum and its database.

Yes that is normal - you are not transferring a domain. You are moving the content of your forum to the domain you registered at go daddy.

get a hosting account somewhere and host your newly registered domain. Then import your forum backup and tweak any errors that might show up due to the move
