I recently found out about PPC and how great it is and I would like to start doing it, yet I am very unexperienced. If any of you could help me out that would be great.

I am also starting PPC. You can learn from jonloomer
My frnd suggested me for this.

Can anyone suggest any other sources for learning ? I understand PPC is all about testing but you need to know something to start testing...

Can recommend you a good book — eMarketing: the essential guide to digital marketing.
This book will help you understand digital marketing and there is a good chapter about PPC.

But the best way to learn and understand PPC is practice-practice-practice
