Help from the Pros? A Newb and his Keyword Troubles...

I seem to have found a keyword that I am going back on forth on. I could use some help from the pros, if, in your opinion it's a solid keyword.

The dotCOM is available for purchase.
Health niche
Exact Monthly Search: 33,100
SEOC: 535,000
cpc: $2.30
I will use adsense
I also did the, intitle:"keyword" inurl:"keyword" and just plugged my keyword in both slots and 24,000 came up as a result. Don't know if that's a good number or not.

The Pros: I can buy the dotCOM, cpc is average, and from what I understand the search volume would be thought as relatively healthy. Most of my competitors it seems are only PR1 as well.

The Cons: The SEOC of 535,000. It's a health niche heavy competition is expected.

Honestly, if my goal to reach the first page of Google is achievable I work on the site for about 6-8 months.

I would like to start on the right foot. So your guidance is very appreciated. Thanks again in advance.

HOw many backlinks do the first 10 results have? Sounds like it will take some work to get to #1. Is this your first site our trying to rank? Whats your SEO experience?

All that matters is the top 10. All other competition figures are just loose guidelines.

I think Niche Market Samurai has it marked as BLP, right? They range from 13 to 3,000. It's a big scatter fest for the most part, some lower some higher.

How do I find that out exactly? I don't think NMS has anything to let you know the backlinks for the homepage. Perhaps I'm wrong.

I can say that if your "allintitle" competition is only 24,000, that is a very strong sign. The backlinks also look beatable.

Are they high PR? Are they aged? are they exact match domains?

You would need some serious SEO to do to see results that grow further. If possible grab a guy with some experience and put him to the test. You
wouldn't want to "Do It Yourself" on this one.
